What is Azithromycin?
Azithromycin (Azee 500 mg) belongs to a group of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. It is used to treat various respiratory bacterial infections (such as pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and sinusitis), skin infections (such as acne and rosacea), ear infections, and sexually transmitted infections.
Bacterial infection is a condition where bacteria multiply in the body and cause infection. It can affect all parts of the body and multiple parts very quickly.

Drug interactions

Taking these medicines with azee can cause serious side effects.
Drug-food interactions: no relevant drug-food interactions were observed with azeetop. As a precaution, the consumption of alcoholic beverages should be avoided as it can cause drowsiness and dizziness.
Drug-disease interactions: azee should not be given to people with liver problems, muscle problems (myasthenia gravis), heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmia), electrolyte imbalance (low potassium or magnesium) and colitis (inflammation of the intestine).
